Christ is Born ... for You

‘O come all you faithful, joyful and triumphant!’
are the lines of a popular Christmas carol but is that how you feel
– faithful, joyful and triumphant this Christmas season?

And is that really who is invited to come to Jesus?
The faithful? The joyful? The triumphant?

Jesus wasn’t born for people who have it all together.
He was born for those who are weary, who are broken, for the ashamed and those who have nothing.
He was born that we might come.

“Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”
(Matthew 11:28)

Rest, found in his life, his death, and his resurrection.

So wherever you find yourself at the end of this trying and tumultuous year,

remember a Saviour has been born, who is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:11).

So come - and share Christmas with us...
